DISH 1000.4 High Definition Antenna
Description
The DISH 1000.4 High Definition Antenna is the single dish reception solution for the Eastern half of the United States. The Dish 1000.4 is designed for the Eastern Arc Satellites and is capable of providing signal from the 61.5, 72.7, and 77 W satellites.
The Dish Network 1000.4 reflector, similar in size to the 1000.2 antenna, allows you to connect up to three receivers and a second dish for a fourth orbital location just like the 1000.2 dish does.
Only VIP series Dish Network MPEG-4 receivers with G3 Smart Card encryption are compatible with the Dish 1000.4 Eastern Arc Satellite Antennas. Only these easily identified Dish Network receivers have the circled A symbol.
The Dish 1000.4 HD Antenna eliminates the need for two dish antennas to receive standard definition (SD)and high definition (HD) programming for customers who fall within the Eastern Arc of satellites.
The Dish 1000.4 has three DISH Pro Plus-capable receiver outputs allows direct connection to either 3 single tuner receivers, three DISH Pro Plus dual-tuner receivers when ZDPP separators are used for a single-cable connection or any configuration of ViP series receivers
Because the Dish 1000.4 includes enhanced peaking controls installation and fine tuning of setup is easier.
Eastern Arc Equipment
Includes
- Mounting hardware
- LNBF bracket
- DPP 1000.4 includes a keying feature that ensures that only DISH 1000.4 antenna parts are used together
Eastern Arc will simulcast HD and SD locals, HD and SD core programming, and expanded HD programming at the 61.5 degree, 72.7 degree, and 77 degree orbital locations.
- Eastern Arc customers will have the ability to receive both SD and HD programming via one antenna
- Antenna reflector size is slightly larger than a DISH 1000.2
- Currently DMAs that fall outside of the 129 degree footprint or that receive HD locals from 61.5 degree require two antennas.
- International programming broadcast from 118.7 degree
- Includes mounting hardware, and LNBS
